LaF Med Secret Cream The First Review

I created this blog mainly because I want to do some reviews on the skincare products that I’ve been using. I’m quite a sucker for skincare products.

Tapi selain tu, I sebenarnya nak improve my writing skills. Dah berkarat lately sebab I bukan jenis yang suka menulis. I belajar pun ambik course engineering, so you can imagine la all I do is calculation. And maybe some reports (tu macam tak kira je).

So, I’ve been wanting to review this moisturizer that I’ve been using for a month already. Look at the tube, dah nak habis dah pun.

There are actually three types of LaF Med Secret Cream. The first time I heard about this cream was on Twitter. This cream has become a new rage among the netizen.

I was actually a little bit frustrated because there is hardly any review on this moisturizer cream. Mostly I jumpa review on the ceramide. Tapi I bantai je beli yang warna pink ni sebab ada perkataan glow, so I beli je.

So my skin concern is, I have a dry and dull skin, uneven skin tone and lotsa whiteheads. So I lebih kepada products yang membuatkan muka nampak glowing, dewy, plump, hydrated, and gives glass skin effect gitu.

Where did I bought:
I bought this at the Guardian store for RM44 tapi I think it was on sale kot sebab if I'm not mistaken, the price is almost RM50. A little bit pricey for such volume. It is only 50g.


What does it claim:
a. Gives velvety finish

b. Makes the make-up long lasting

c. Strongly hydrating
d. Reduces wrinkles

Ingredients:

Water, Cyclopentasiloxane, Dimethicone, Glycerin, Butylene Glycol, Niacinamide, Dimethicone/Vinyl Dimethicone Crosspolymer, Betaine, PEG/PPG-17/Copolymer, Cetyl PEG/PPG-10/1 Dimethicone, Allantoin, Butylene glycol, Adenosine, Black Bean Extract, Oat Protein Extract, Rice Bran Extract, Quinoa Flower/Leaf Extract, Purple Rice Extract, Sodium Hyaluronate, Yellow No. 5, Red No. 227, Disodium EDTA, Arginine, Carbomer, Benzyl Glycol, Ethylhexylglycerin, Rasberry Ketone, Fragrance

Honestly, I don't know much about the ingredients.I biasanya tengok kalau ramai cakap best, I akan interested.

Tapi yang ni, the only ingredient yang I tahu purpose dia adalah Glycerin. Glycerin draws water into the skin. It helps the skin to look healthy, smooth, soft and supple. It is a good fighter against dry skin. So basically, if you're looking for a hydrating moisturizer, keyword dia adalah Glycerin.

Instruction:
1. After application of serum, apply it on face. It hydrates the skin.
2. Put a little bit on spots which need make-up correction. It arranges make-up.

Packaging:
It stated that it comes in a used ointment tube with screwable cap. I'm not really sure if it means that dia guna recycled ointment tube? Tetapi yang penting, since it comes in a tube, it is more hygienic.




Texture and scent:
It is a light-weight semi transparent cream in pink colour. It has a refreshing smell, smells like floral. The smell is not too strong, so it is comfortable to use.



Dia sangat light-weight, and it wont blemish your skin. For me, the most important moisturizer is the moisturizer yang takkan menyebabkan muka kita berpeluh after the application. Cuaca di Malaysia adalah panas dan lembab, so krim yang tesktur thick. will more likely buatkan muka kita berpeluh.

When you spread the cream, it melts on your skin and becomes water droplets.




Final verdict:
I like this cream. I swear it makes my skin so smooth and soft. But this is not the kind of moisturizer that I am looking for. If you are looking for a good primer, this one is for you. It is good for setting make-up. It gives velvety finish to your skin after the application. It is hydrating. It's not sticky. You wont feel like you applied any cream on your face after a few minutes. My complexion has gradually get better over time. I can see it added some glow in my skin.

But, I gotta say that this cream is more suitable for make-up. I don't wear make-up but I believe if you use this a primer, your make-up will look more fabulous, you're gonna look more glowing.

I think, I am gonna try the Ceramide (green tube) next time.


Recommendation:
Highly recommended! I think if I were to wear make-up one day. I might buy this as the primer.
